Tip: Choosing the Right Engine Oil

The best way to choose an engine oil is to check your vehicle or motorcycle owner’s manual, which almost always specifies an API oil specification such as “CF/SF 15W40”. The letters indicate suitability for diesel and petrol engines (a higher second letter means a higher specification), while “15W40” describes the viscosity and confirms it is a multigrade oil.
